ACCA Total Cost in Pakistan 2026: Full PKR Breakdown

Short answer: the total cost of ACCA in Pakistan in 2026 runs between PKR 10.2 lakh and PKR 20.9 lakh, depending on how many exemptions you claim, how many papers you resit, and whether you study online or on campus. A student with no exemptions who passes everything first time and studies online should budget around PKR 16.9 lakh from registration to ACCA membership.

That is a wide range, and the width is the point. Most ACCA cost guides publish one number and leave you to discover the rest at the payment screen. This guide breaks the number apart so you can see exactly which decisions move it, and by how much.

Every figure below is converted from ACCA's published fee list in pounds sterling. For Pakistani students, the exchange-rate assumption matters as much as the listed fee.

What You Are Actually Paying For: The Six Cost Buckets

ACCA cost in Pakistan is not one bill. It is six separate streams of money leaving your account at different times, to different people, and in different currencies.

#Cost bucketPaid toCurrencyWhen
1Initial registrationACCA UKGBPOne-time
2Annual subscriptionACCA UKGBPEvery 1 January
3Exam entry feesACCA UKGBPPer paper, per sitting
4Exemption feesACCA UKGBPPer paper waived
5Tuition feesYour institutePKRPer paper or monthly
6Study materialsPublisher or institutePKR/GBPPer paper

Buckets 1 to 4 are ACCA fees set in pounds. Buckets 5 and 6 are where you have more control. The biggest avoidable costs are usually resits and late entries, rather than tuition.

The Exchange Rate Problem Nobody Budgets For

ACCA charges in pounds and Pakistani students pay in rupees. As of mid-September 2026, the interbank GBP/PKR rate was around PKR 374 to GBP 1, but that is not necessarily the rate your card will settle at.

  • Bank FX markup: typically 1% to 3% over interbank, depending on the bank and card type.
  • Advance tax: from 1 July 2026, the Finance Act reduced withholding tax on international card transactions to 0.5% for filers. Non-filers may be charged more.
  • Rate drift: ACCA fees are fixed in GBP for the year, while the rupee can move before you pay.

Our planning rule is to budget at PKR 385 to GBP 1, rather than PKR 374. Every rupee figure below uses PKR 385. Applied Knowledge fees are set by local CBE centres, so confirm the current amount directly with your centre before booking.

Applied Knowledge note: BT, MA and FA are taken at licensed local CBE centres in Pakistan, which set their own fees. ACCA's comparable remote on-demand reference is roughly GBP 119 to GBP 130.

The single most expensive mistake in ACCA

Missing an entry deadline can add around PKR 1 lakh to one paper. Check each session's deadline on ACCA's Important Dates page before entering: late entry is offered at ACCA's discretion and dates can change.

Registration and Annual Subscription Costs

Annual subscription 2026GBP 140PKR 53,900Every 1 January

The subscription trap: the annual subscription is due on 1 January even if you do not sit an exam. If you pause study, keeping the subscription current is normally much cheaper than re-registering and paying arrears later.

ACCA Exemption Fees: The Counterintuitive Math

Exemptions are not free: you pay ACCA for each paper you skip.

Exemption fromFeePKR at 385
Applied Knowledge paperGBP 86PKR 33,110
Applied Skills paperGBP 114PKR 43,890
FIA papers FA1, FA2, MA1, MA2FreeFree

For a B.Com or BBA graduate with three Applied Knowledge and six Applied Skills exemptions, claiming all nine costs GBP 942 (PKR 362,670). Sitting the same nine papers would cost around GBP 1,335 (PKR 513,975) in ACCA exam fees alone, before tuition and extra subscriptions. Exemptions usually save money and time.

When you should decline an exemption

An exemption can be a poor strategic choice when it removes a technical foundation you need later. Skipping FR can make SBR harder; skipping AA can make AAA harder; and skipping FM can make AFM harder. Check your exact entitlement with ACCA's official exemption calculator before making the decision.

Tuition Fees: The Part You Control

RouteTypical tuitionUsually included
Live online, such as IBS iPassPKR 7,000/month + PKR 5,000 admissionLive sessions, materials, mocks and WhatsApp support
Live online, per paperVaries by paper and levelSession-specific teaching, mocks and revision
Physical campus in PakistanPKR 15,000 to 40,000 per paperClasses and some materials
International providerUSD 200 to 600+ per paperMaterials and CBE practice

Across 13 papers, online tuition generally totals PKR 250,000 to 400,000; campus tuition can range from PKR 195,000 to 520,000. A course that appears cheaper but leads to an extra resit is not actually the cheaper route.

Study Materials: Where Most Students Overspend

OptionCost per paperNotes
ACCA Study HubFreeOfficial digital texts and practice, included with registration
Local printed Kaplan/BPPPKR 1,500 to 3,000Widely available

Use the ACCA Study Hub first. Budget PKR 25,000 to 40,000 for printed materials across the full qualification only where you genuinely prefer paper-based revision.

Total Cost of ACCA in Pakistan: Three Realistic Scenarios

Scenario A - School leaver, no exemptions, clean run, online tuition

If you stop at affiliate status, after passing all exams but before admission to membership, this falls to approximately PKR 14.5 lakh.

The Hidden Costs That Wreck ACCA Budgets

ResitsPKR 61,600 to 80,080 per paper plus re-tuitionDo not enter before you are mock-ready

How to Cut Your Total ACCA Cost

  1. Check exemptions before registering. This is the largest lever.
  2. Never miss standard entry. Add every session deadline to your calendar.
  3. Use ACCA Study Hub. Official material is already included with registration.
  4. Become a filer. This can reduce the advance tax charged on international card payments.
  5. Keep your subscription current. Re-registration and arrears cost more.
  6. Sit no more than two papers per session. A resit can erase time savings.
  7. Do not mock, do not enter. A timed mock is a better readiness test than rereading notes.
  8. Compare tuition by resit risk, not sticker price.

A Year-by-Year Cash Flow Plan

PeriodWhat you payApproximate PKR
Month 0Registration, first subscription and tuition starts88,165 + tuition
Year 1Three Applied Knowledge and two Applied Skills papers267,575
Year 2Subscription, four Applied Skills papers and EPSM332,255
Year 3Subscription, SBL and SBR242,550
Year 4Subscription, two Options papers214,060
On completionAffiliate subscription and membership admission188,265

The first year is front-loaded: registration, annual subscription and several papers may fall close together. Budget for that early cash requirement instead of spreading the headline total evenly.

Where Innate Business School Fits

We are a tuition provider, so tuition is one of the six buckets above. We do not control ACCA's fees. What we can influence is the learning experience and, indirectly, the resit risk that makes exam fees expensive.

  • IBS iPass covers eight Foundation papers at PKR 7,000 per month with a one-time PKR 5,000 admission fee. Live Urdu/Hindi sessions, materials, mocks and WhatsApp support are included.

  • The ACCA 30 Days Challenge is for students with an exam already booked who need structured revision, a mock and feedback.
